Frederik J. Steyn, PhD is an Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at The University of Queensland, where he leads the Laboratory for Heterogeneity in Neurodegenerative Disease. Dr. Steyn’s research explores the metabolic vulnerabilities in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), with a strong focus on integrating digital health technologies like actigraphy to improve the monitoring of disease progression and outcomes in clinical trials.
