Crossing the Chasm: The Digital Transformation of Clinical Research

The ActiGraph Digital Data Summit 2025 is a unique event advancing the application of wearable digital health technology (DHT) in clinical research. Together, we can address opportunities and challenges facing broader adoption of digital measures in drug development.

It takes collaboration across the multidisciplinary field of digital health to accelerate the translation of research to clinical application and realize the potential of delivering more effective treatments to patients faster. We invite scientists, public health researchers, clinicians, regulators, and technology experts to join ADDS and drive change together.

ADDS 2025 Activities

We're excited to add several new activities to the ADDS agenda this year, providing opportunities for deeper discussions, actionable takeaways, and expanded networking within the digital health community.

ALS Workshop

Wednesday, February 12th, 3:30 PM CT

While many have demonstrated the potential of digital measures, there is still a substantial gap to their use as primary or key secondary endpoints in ALS clinical trials. To make progress towards this finish line, ADDS 2025 will include a focused workshop with global KOLs in ALS trial design.

Following a mini-symposium of ALS-focused research presentations during the ADDS conference, we’ll gather in a smaller workshop session. Workshop attendees will discuss open research and methodological questions, needs and barriers in ALS clinical development, and current evidence gaps with the goal of developing an action plan, timeline and establish collaborative efforts.

ActiGraph Headquarters Tour

Wednesday, February 12th, 3:30 PM CT

Our team is proud to host the ActiGraph Digital Data Summit in Pensacola Beach, FL, just minutes away from our company headquarters in downtown Pensacola. This year, we’re excited to invite interested ADDS attendees behind-the-scenes!

Join us for a trolley ride through historic downtown Pensacola (the oldest city in America), and then tour the ActiGraph office space. You'll have the opportunity to meet team members and learn more about both our company history and our future as we pioneer the digital transformation of clinical research.

Scientific Poster Session

ADDS 2025 Scientific Poster Session

The ADDS 2025 scientific poster session will highlight original research that involves the use of wearable digital health technologies (DHTs). This is an exciting opportunity for researchers to share their work with digital health leaders across academia and the drug development industry!

We invite you to submit your abstract for consideration to be included in the poster session no later than Sunday, October 27. Applicants will be eligible to apply for a travel award based on scientific merit and financial need.

What Did Attendees Say About ADDS?

It's nice to have a conference that has a very specific focus, because we can dive much deeper into that and really get into the meat of the data. You can get into a much deeper understanding of the particular topic as well as some of the advancements in the field.

Ariel Dowling, PhD

Head of Sensing and Measurement | Takeda

It's a perfect thing when you can come to a conference, and you can meet people and immediately realize that you have things in common and can help each other; to meet other people who are really in different fields, but experiencing some of the same issues and develop potential collaborations across the board.

Johathan Soslow

Pediatric Cardiologist | Vanderbuilt University

An event like this brings talent that you normally are not exposed to, and as you see these presentations, you're shocked as to how much innovation is out there.

Peter Fernandes

CEO | Bellerophon Therapeutics

I think a lot of us do research in the technology and how we can apply it to our specific research interests or populations, but learning how to cross those boundaries between clinical populations is important.

Professor of Epidemiology and Director | Center on Aging and Health at the Johns Hopkins University
