Dr. Jonathan Soslow

Dr. Soslow is a pediatric cardiologist with advanced training and expertise in pediatric cardiac imaging, particularly cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR). His research focuses on the assessment of serum and imaging biomarkers in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) cardiomyopathy and after heart transplant.

He also has expertise in the evaluation of skeletal muscle strength and activity in patients with DMD. His current funding includes R01s from the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health.

He has served as the Director of the Imaging Core Laboratory for multiple prior and ongoing studies.

He is the Director of Clinical Research and the Director of Cardiac MRI for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.

He helped found and now co-directs the DMD Multispecialty Clinic at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He is the Vice-Chair of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) Pediatric Steering Committee.
